I am current senior trying to decide between UPenn and Cornell for early decision. I plan to major in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in the realm of entrepreneurship. I visited both campuses and really enjoyed both of them, even if the setting was vastly different. Right now, I am leaning towards UPenn due to the proximity (2 hour train vs 5 hour drive), and since I enjoyed the city of Philly, however I am hesitant about the toxic nature present at the school. Academically, I know the two schools are very similar, so if any students or graduates could chime in on the campus life and other any information you feel important it would be appreciated!
Neither based on your concerns.
A toxic culture doesn’t change overnight.
Why not EA to UMD, Purdue ,etc.
( or other US News ranked programs for engineering/ business prestige yet not infamous for toxic culture).
