Also, how is their religion dept? Worth looking into?

By ED I mean early decision policy, sorry for not clarifying.

They don't have ED. They have rolling, and it is relatively easy to get into. Get above a 3.0 and above 1500 (new SAT) and you should be alright.

A2 any idea on the rep. of IU's education school?

nope...look for some rankings somewhere... i'm clueless

Here's the general rule: if you're not talking about the music or business schools, the rep isn't good

No, the Journalism school is awfully good from what i've heard. Psychology is in the top 15.

i tink Indiana's strengths are in the liberal arts: english, psych., history and other fields of study like business, music, journalism, education ( education is pretty good, wouldnt say exceptional though but considered top) that are more vocational/professional. i know that indiana doesnt get so much of the top firms in law though, and premed i dont think it matters what school you go to cuz chemistry and biology anywhere is hard so its all about the gpa and extracurricular stuff. yea, even though IU is "raising" admissions standards, the new standards are still pretty low but i tink they are just trying to inch up little by little rather than increasing the standards too high in the beginning.

its really hard to tell where IU will be in the next 4, 6 or 10 years, we gota just wait it out. IU is tryin to be more aggressive in becoming more academically recognized and thus have more national recognition in academic and professional circles but its really up to the IU student population to make that happen.....
