ACCEPTED!

ACCEPTEEEEEED! Can’t believe it, sosososo happy to be going to the most amazing school ever with you guys!

Should we post stats here?

No, someone should start a 2019 ED1 results thread. The kids applying ed2& rd this year may find it helpful, as will the kids applying next year. Congrats to those accepted, and to those deferred and rejected (I prefer: redirected), keep your head up high. You’ll find your way and this time next year, you’ll be in the midst of finals and today will seem like a thousand years ago.

I’m going to Tufts!

Congrats to all of my future classmates, and if there’s anyone in the Long Island area who is also accepted, definitely PM me. Good luck to all future jumbos, and to all those who are letdown, don’t lose hope! I won’t say everything happens for a reason, but college (and life in general) is what you make of it. All of you are great applicants and will be successful no matter where you go or what you do :)

ACCEPTED. I’M A BABY JUMBO :D

I got accepted to the facebook group at about 11:35, the admin posted “Welcome ED! We love new jumbos!” around 11:45, and I thought this was a group where anyone can join, so i was half anxious and half excited. But apparently it’s actually only the accepted ones I guess?! I got my email at 11:51, and I just completely bursted out to tears. Just can’t believe it. GO JUMBOS AND HELLO BOSTON <3

I have been obsessively reading this thread for the past few weeks and could barely function today because of nerves. I was so nervous and now I’m so relieved. Tufts is really the perfect place for me. Congrats everyone, hope to see some of you in Medford next fall!

So the decisions are out. I got accepted! But I have not received the financial aid package a long with it. Can anyone tell me when it usually would come?

Accepted! I’m ecstatic! Does anyone know if they also mail a paper letter/when we receive FA stuff?

@rvakid I’m wondering about the same thing here, waiting for the next email.

To all those concerned with financial aid-- Information about scholarships and how much they’ll give you usually comes in your paper acceptance letter. I would expect that a little after New Year’s, but it honestly depends on where you live in relation to the school. While I did not apply for financial aid, I was accepted into Tulane EA as well, and only when I got my physical letter did they tell me how much money they were giving me right off the bat.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! Can’t wait to see you all!

I’m immensely proud to be a jumbo, although I haven’t had the easiest life this has made up for it 100%. Incredibly lucky and privileged for the acceptance. I’d like to congratulate my fellow future-Jumbos as well as comfort those of you who didn’t get in. I really see no difference between us and I’m sure you’ll still go to a brilliant school!

Just got my fa. It’s way better than I expected! So happy to be a jumbo :)

FA is not as high as I had hoped.

Where did you guys see your fa? @josephtheworst @rhymetime56

Hey guys, this question might have been asked before, but how did Tufts notify you of the decision? Was it by email or through the TAMS portal? Thank you!
