Three weeks!!!!!!!!!

AHH! I want to know NOW.
I keep telling myself I won’t get in so I don’t get disappointed with the results…

one more week!!! I’m excited for it but also kind of dreading the results. It’s nice thinking/hoping you can get in without actually knowing haha

this seems silly but i can’t figure out exactly when on the 15th we find out, or if they let us know via e-mail. if anyone knows please reply!

they send a big envelope if accepted and a skinny one if not.
they usually come out before the fifteenth. Usually on the 12th or 13th.
If you’re waiting a long time it probably is bad news…but thats all ive gathered on my hours of lurking on Pomona CC posts.
Where are you from?

Even on the east coast?

yea they do not notify you online.
the only way they contact you about admissions decisions is my postal mail.

im from socal live like an hour away from Pomona!

AHHHHHHHHHH ONLY 5 DAYS (OR FEWER)!!!
PS - anyone else experiencing a ridiculously huge snow storm right now?

haha its nice and sunny here. about 68 degrees
but our school’s MUN trip to Georgetown got canceled cuz of the bad snowstorms!

I reviewed the EDII thread from last year. It seems that the acceptance packages were sent out Feb. 12 and 13 via priority mail, and many received theirs on Saturday, February 14.

Rejections were apparently sent regular mail and not received until the following week.

Good luck to all.

called admissions today- decisions are going to be mailed on Monday (the 15th)

Except for Monday is a holiday-no mail :(

hmm just called again to verify.
i guess they will deposit the decisions into the mail on the 15th but the mail won’t actually be processed til the 16th because of the holiday… wow the suspense is really killing me!

that seems to suggest all letters are mailed on the same day – acceptances, rejections, and deferrals. Is that how it worked before?

ahhh the fifteenth just HAS to be the day they have one of ten postal holidays!

I know righttt. What are the odds of that?

10/365 = 2.7% = my chances of admission

wait. seriously?

Just checked my mail. I got deferred. There’s still hope!
So they sent them out yesterday. Feburary 11th.
Good luck to all who have yet to hear!

Good luck to you, balleranddancer. You’ll have many wonderful schools to choose from RD!!!

My S got his acceptance today. Post marked Feb.11th —priority mail envelope.
