i applied EDII as well!! im sooooo nervous I love pomona and really want to get in!

Yes, I did ED II! I have not heard anything from Pomona though. Did anyone else get a confirmation email from Pomona about receiving all the materials? I did submit it on the 28th and I know that the admission people are probably not doing anything over the holidays, but I was just wondering. Thanks and good luck to everyone!!

@Katey101 I applied to ED II on the 26th and got a confirmation e-mail on the 30th.
I’m sure it takes them a few days to file your application, so don’t worry
Good luck to you.

Ahhhhh!
I want to know nowww. Or, I want to be accepted now, I guess I can wait until Febuary to be rejected =p

Good luck guys!

I applied ED2 !! Good luck everyone. I can’t wait for February 15th!

I was going to apply EDII…but then I chose to do RD. But then I realized I had everything done for the EDII deadline. But then Pomona e-mailed me and told me I was switched to RD. But I submitted my Common App EDII…Now i’m just confused

Good luck to everyone though!!!

There are two places to designate ED - one on the supplement, and one in the common app, under schools. If you do not designate ED in the common app, then you do not get the form that you, your counselor and your parents need to sign. If you do want to be consided EDII, you might try calling them and see what your options are. If you never sent that form, print it out (by signing out of your CA account, and then clicking on forms) and get the necessary signatures, and then mail it to them.

Has anyone who submitted on the 28th gotten a notification from Pomona letting you know they recieved your app?

I submitted on the 27th and I have not recieved an email from Pomona.
I don’t know why but Pomona is really slow (?)
Other institutions have gotten in touch a lot quicker than Pomona has.

Hmm
Yeah, still no word.

I would send a email asking them if they received it just to make sure. I sent mine in on the 25th and then around the 27, I emailed the admissions office asking them if they received all of my stuff.

Do you think it is okay to call admissions and ask, or is an email better?

My D applied to 10 schools last year RD - obviously Pomona was one of them since that’s where she is right now. Pomona was the WORST school at advising about application paperwork. She sent an email to be sure they had everything and they said she would eventually hear back if they were missing anything. Every other school had confirmed receipt of all materials almost immediately. It was almost a turn off because Pomona seemed unorganized. She did hear from them, probably in about March, two months after she applied, confirming receipt of all materials. So don’t worry about not hearing right away from Pomona - they will contact you if they are missing anything. And about that unorganized comment I made above - that was the only negative about the entire process.

Good luck to you all, Pomona is FANTASTIC.
