which one is better for an international student? give some reasons :) thank you !!

Green River has been catering to International students for a longer period of time and probably has a better-developed overall International program. Edmonds has been aggressively pursuing International students lately and has made it one of it’s priorities. Both are good schools, but I think that Edmonds has a better location (just north of Seattle, vs. Green River’s further away and south of Seattle) and better facilities.

Al F.
Dean at Everett CC, just north of Edmonds

thankyou !!
but if i go to edmonds ,do i have a big chance to get transferred to UC ?or should i go to community college in california ?
i choose washington state because i heard that the cost of living there is lower than california
:)

I think that the only disadvantage of going to a WA CC is that the Associate’s degree you earn does not have an articulation agreement with UC schools. This means that they will have to evaluate your transcript in order to determine if you have satisfied all of the general education requirements for getting a Bachelor’s degree.

In terms of being accepted to a UC school, there should be little difference between identical transcripts from a CA CC vs. a WA CC.
