Hi! I've attended two different high schools, my current one and one I was at for my freshman and sophomore year. In the "Education Interruption" section, it says if I "did or will change secondary schools." Do I check this box? It didn't interrupt my education at all, so I wasn't sure if I still check it since it seems to suggest if my education was interrupted/skipped a year/etc.

Anyone else that have switched high schools know what I should check?

I’m submitting my commonapp tomorrow for a school so I would really love any help… I know someone out there has to have had this same question, but I can’t find any info. My education was not interrupted in anyway, so I didn’t check this for now since I read the section as if my education was literally interrupted (as in, something pushed it back or something) but if I need to check it since I transferred high schools, I will and write a short explanation that I just transferred high schools.

You do need to check the box saying you changed schools. The word “interruption” is intended to be broadly generic and it does cover the situation you are in. It is not a black mark or negative on your application in any way, simply a check box to indicate your courses and possibly your school activities were at two institutions. If you want to address this in the additional information section, from the tone of your posts you could probably do that with a single sentence (e.g, We moved in 2011.)
