<p>Scholarship Details: The Education Matters Scholarship 2011 is awarded by ScholarshipExperts.com.
Scholarship Deadline: Monday, October 31 2011 at 11:59 PM EDT
Number of Recipients: One award offered annually.
Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable. The scholarship will be in the form of a check made payable to the accredited postsecondary institution of higher education attended by the recipient (once he/she has enrolled in an accredited postsecondary institution of higher education and submitted proof of enrollment to the sponsor). The scholarship prize recipient must submit proof of enrollment on or before Dec. 31, 2017.
Requirements: This award is for U.S. students.
Must be 13 years of age or older.
Must be a legal U.S. resident.
Must reside in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. </p>

<p>is this legit? I am so tired of signing up for scholarship websites and then being bombarded with emails asking me to do surveys or the like.</p>

<p>^its the scholarship SEARCH websites that share your email and such (eg fastweb especially). The scholarships themselves don’t do that.</p>
