I have come to realize that I will not be eligible for the EOP for SUNY because my GPA is slightly too high. I qualify in the financial perspective, as well as my SAT scores, but not GPA. Which really put me at a huge disadvantage. Although I strongly feel that I should be eligible.

Let me give some background information on myself. I've attended three different high schools. I never attended classes in the beginning of my high school years and failed every single one of my classes. After transferring to my second high school something just clicked for me, and I began to do very well. I had to transfer for a third time for family reasons. My third school, which is the school I currently attend, is not the normal high school. It's called an alternative high school and basically what they do is assist people who has not done well in the past and offer them a second chance. Here I continue to do well and pass all my classes. Although they do something very strange with transcripts. When I was sending in my supplemental along with my transcripts, my college counselor told me to send my school's own transcript which is made up of only the grades in my second and third high school, none from the first(failing grades). A letter was enclosed with the supplemental which informed the colleges about the transcript.

And because of this, my GPA is too high to be eligible for the EOP program for any SUNY school. I am very upset. Is there anything I can do about this? Perhaps call the schools, talk to them? I would greatly appreciate your help.
