EE Summer classes Advice

Basically took a opportunity to gain work experience with Verizon Wireless which is required I start Spring semester. YAY ME! Anyhow, it also requires I push back my schedule to summer and requires I take classes over summer vs spring. I'm currently a sophomore, but have transfered so some of the courses I've taken are off set.

I'm looking for advice as a EE on which classes to take over the summer. Any advice appreciated, my gameplan was to take general elective to get out the way because I know summer will distract my focus. I dont want to ignore all my EE electives though.... Personally which courses do you think would be best to take over the summer, I don't want to rely on redbull every night of the summer so given that, somewhat stressfree. Also I understand courses vary from college to college and teacher to teacher... but I'll do the research.

Attending University of Pitt-
Taken all Gen courses, phy1&2, calc1&2, chem1&2, etc.
Taken digital logic, basic lin algebra, microecon

Course I can take in summer:
EE circuits1, computer organization(logic2), diff eq, calc3, java programming, probability and stats for engrs...
Also can take communication elective I need, and or any other electives that would be 2-3credits.

Again, kinda have a limited and open schedule due to me being a early sophomore still. Suggestion/advice/criticism.... thanks

diff eq probably would be a killer if you don’t do the work. if calc3 involves mutlivariable (if that’s what your calc 3 is about), then you need to pull your belt too because some people are very weak at drawing planes and surfaces…
I don’t know how bad is your probability and stats for engr at your school - but in my school it’s a killer course.

I would say always find out opinions from your upperclassmen first.
Do you have to take these classes in order to graduate within 4 years?

During summer? None. Hope that was helpful…

Seriously, I’d say diff eq would be the easiest assuming you did well in the calc series.

Take a look at this web site for lots of help.
Especially for electronics and math support.
Lot of free information there for the taking.
Great calculus page.
