EE42--do i NEED physics first?

I've never taken a physics class in my life. I need to take EE42 for CS (im in letters and science). I'm also taking EE43 (the 1 unit pass/fail lab thats supposed to help).

i'm really good at math (A+ in 1a, A in 1b) and i've always been really good at sciences, but i'm kinda worried that not having physics is gonna screw me in this class. its not listed as a prereq, but still...electronic circuits without ANY physics background?

i'll be taking a fairly light load along with it (cs70 and cs61b and the final unit of cs3s that i had never intended to finish just to round out that last unit). i study hard.

do you think i'll be okay? i'd really like to be able to get an A.

I don't think physics is terribly necessary. I took EE42 and the only physics I took was regular physics in high school (non AP), and I was fine. They pretty much teach you any principles you would need from physics in the beginning.

Seems like you're a smart guy.. with excellent grades in math. You should do fine. Plus, taking a look at this semesters prof, I heard he's a pretty bad and easy teacher.
