Why is it recommended that CS majors take EE43 concurrently with EE42? Just how important is the synergy for someone who has little interest in hardware? Thanks!

i just took ee42 and i feel fine.
Since I am cs not eecs and don’t feel the need to hand on circuits.
But I guess it helps to you learn the concepts better, and make the class more pratical and applicable in some way.
But again, i have little interest in hardware like you, so i didn’t take ee43 and feel no regret so far.

It’s not worth it for 1-unit class. EE43 labs are way ahead of the class and doing those pre-labs can be painful without any background knowledge.

Ok thanks guys!
