<p>I understand that there is not a designated program for electrical engineering and computer science, like MIT and Berkeley offer. Is there any alternative program, such as dual degree, double major, etc..., that I can take to emulate an EECS program? It seems like the only viable option is a secondary major or a dual major. If I were to dual major with EE and CS, how much courseload should I expect?</p>
<p>EE and CS are two of the most difficult majors offered at Stanford, and students are often overwhelmed with just one of them as a major. I’m not sure if it would even be possible to double major because both majors have a very large courseload, so it probably wouldn’t even fit into 12 quarters. I would say you might want to consider a minor in one of them. The best people to talk to would be the CS department advisors. You can always email them to ask any questions</p>
