Eeekkkk Rec Error!

Today, I discovered that my guidance counselor made two errors in my letter of recommendation. She stated that I took two AP classes outside of school. I've taken courses, but they were merely non-credit college classes. Secondly, she said that I intend to major in Political Science, but I told colleges that I intend to major in Sociology/Economics. I have already applied to all of my schools.

How should I approach this issue? Is it a problem at all?

Thanks in advance for your help!

No, it’s not a problem and there is nothing you need to do here. You’ve been truthful in your application and that’s what’s important. You can let the GC know about the mistake re the AP courses, if you really want to, and she may or may not bother to send a correction. Chances are she won’t but if it were ever to come up, she’ll know you mentioned it to her.

As for the major, students change their minds all the time and her misreporting this will probably go unnoticed. This is a non-issue.
