Counselor made a mistake on my rec?

In his rec, my counselor listed the number of AP and honors courses I'll have completed by graduation. However he put the wrong numbers and both were too low. On my Common App and transcript it obviously has the correct number of classes, but I'm not sure if they'll actually be counting the classes on my transcript. Will adcoms see this as a red flag or an easily recognizable mistake?

Can you ask the guidance counselor to correct it and submit it to the colleges? I think they may see the discrepancy but not really understand the reasoning behind it

@shawnspencer I actually went to see him Friday to get him to make the correction, and I believe he did correct. I just don’t think he remembered to actually go on to Common App and correct it there too. There’s not too much I can do now that we’re on break; I wonder if he can contact admissions office or submit a change when we get back.

@z0e101 How were you able to see your SSR?

@fri612 is the SSR the school report? If so, I didn’t see it, and I’m pretty sure I’m not allowed to. My counselor writes a generic rec letter that we use all year for colleges, scholarships, etc. and he gives us a copy so he can tailor it for specific scholarships or what have you at our request.
