effects of low sat II scores?

i have a combined score of 2000 for my reg sats but i screwd up on my sat IIs-
highest two -660 math 580 physics?

how much does columbia weigh on sat II scores if the rest of the application (essay, recs, gpa, extra currics, interview) is decent? is there still hope? ):

for e.d.

i went to the columbia summer school program and there was a seminar at the end of the program. the admissions officer that talked for 2 hours, the guy from the tv show on abc "the scholar", said that columbia uses sat 2's as an(bare w/ me i cant remember the exact quote) "evaluative" test. i don't what the word he used after evaluative was but i remember him implying that SAT 2's were not as important as GPA, SAT 1's, and essays. actually, the weird thing was was that he talked about the why columbia question more than any other aspect of the columbia app, which i thought was interesting.

so this means they dont really matter that much...?
assuming the rest of the app is strong.
my sat 2 scores are 760, 660, and 640.

all i can say is that it's not gonna totally kill u as long as u have a good GPA, SAT and killer essay. Rather than worrying about SAT2 which u can really do nothign about unless u plan on retaking focus ur energy on the essays to make u.

yea imiracle is right. if your gpa stinks you are in trouble but sat 2's aren't as important in respect to the other parts of the columbia app. essays are more important than sat 2's so work on that and you'll be fine.
