How hard is it to get into the Engineering Global Leadership program? I know you need a 3.6. What type of jobs do you get from this program? Anyone on CC in this program? Can you tell me about your experiences so far in it.

I can tell you I didn’t look into it because of all the language and extra requirements. Plus I had no interest studying abroad.

If you want to study abroad and possibly work abroad, and don’t mind the extra language classes, then go for it.

does EGL care how many non-engineering courses you take. I might be taking one SS and one HU next semester and I dont want them to think im taking the “easy” route.

I doubt it. I mean, you have to take all the same classes eventually. I really wouldn’t recommend taking an SS and HU course the same semester though. You might get behind the eight ball later in your engineering course load and either unable to get into a class or stuck taking a whole bunch of engineering courses at the same time, which isn’t fun.

Basically its much easier to find some random HU course to take P/F down the road then it is the get into that one lab section of some 300 level engineering course you need to take to move on to the next course in the sequence.
