<p>Do I pick a extracurricular that is meaningful to me and just talk more about it? If so, in what context? What do I say? </p>

<p>You talk about how the ec has helped you developed as a person and what you’ve learned from it. It would be good if you chose a ec that reflected what you want to major in, but it could also be something you just really have fun doing. Just write about what the ec has taught you. Good luck!</p>

<p>That’s not much space at all, maybe enough for 2 paragraphs or so! I think it does count spaces, but it still should be plenty say a little about one of your ECs.</p>
<p>Because of the 1000 character limit (which does include spaces), pick your ec and then focus specifically on one aspect of it that is reflective of it and you. For example, I wrote mine about art, had a paragraph about my bedroom and how insane it looks because of all the supplies and paint splatters everywhere and then was like I can’t imagine my life without art, it is my foundation etc etc. So like, use a specific to convey a general attitude towards your ec. If that makes sense. just a suggestion
