Would attaching an additional activity sheet to the common app be advisable if someone wants to provide EC info (the section the common app isn't enough). I've worked part time through nearly all of high school, and I don't think the small section doesn't do enough justice in describing what jobs I had. I am not trying to attach a resume, just an activity sheet with 2-4 lines on my ECs. Would this be too much (I'm applying everywhere from state schools to Ivies and peers) ?

That’s perfect! It’s one of the uses of the Additional information page. Don’t write an essay and you’ll be fine. Good luck!

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure I didn’t slap on a resume with my app and make it seem too packaged.

It’s quite common for students to attach a resume to their app, since the commonapp has such a crappy form for listing your ECs and explaining what they are and your level of involvement. I nice concise resume is good idea.

That space for ECs is teensy-weensy, IMHO. My D put info that would not fit in the Additional Info section (she did put in the activity & hours, just said “See Additional Info” in that space for info, and then put some bullets about the activity in a section with that same title in Additional Info). Maybe this is something that will be improved in the new version of the Common App next year. :)
