Resume in addition to Common App?

I'm wondering what to do about detailing your extracurricular activities on the Common App. Clearly, those drop down bars they have online are not enough to specify each activity - I mean, one bar for "Community Service" and that's it? What if you're part of several community service projects and organizations? (As I know everyone on here is...) And it seems as though there's no space to even name each activity (time spent, positions held, that's it)..

Would it be too pretentious to send each college a separate resume? And if not, how would one go about this? (Just mail them a random sheet of paper and expect them to look at it..?)

and also, is 2 pages too much for a resume, or should it all be summed up in 1

Isn't there space for "additional information" on the common app? Could you describe your activities more completely in that space?

Hmm, yeah, but how exactly would you do that? I don't think you could post an entire resume on there...

Also, in my case, I was planning to use that for something else.

You'll have to decide. An entire resume, no, probably not, but you could add to the specificity of the ECs in a couple of lines for each one.
If it's really important that they have the entire two pages, I guess you should mail it separately.
