Which UC's guarantee admission to all ELC applicants?

All UCs, except UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley, guarantee admission to all ELC applicants, if you complete UC requirements.

UCI guarantees admission to most ELC applicants, except for students applying to certain programs, such as engineering.

I got a chart about this from my counselor last year.

I got
- a letter from UCD saying they will take me if I apply (any major)
- a letter from UCI (certain majors excluded)
- a letter from UCSD (likely to accept given my credentials)
- UCLA/UCB (they tell me to apply apply apply)
- a booklet from the UC detailing my chances for all UC's.

is the psychology major at UCI excluded?

All the UCs except Berkeley and UCLA have very high (90%+) acceptance rates for ELC applicants. Even though UCSD isn't technically one of the "guarantee" UCs, it still has about a 90% acceptance rate for ELC applicants. Berkeley's is closer to 50% and UCLA to 60% (check the UC site for exact numbers on each UC).

From what I recall, only business, engineering, and some dancing/performing arts majors are excluded.

I didnt want to start a new thread, so i'll just ask my question here:

I'm transferring schools right now (just finished my junior year), and my old school just sent away my transcript to be reviewed for ELC status. I know for a fact I qualify for ELC with my old school because I am currently 19/496. Now at this new school i'm going to, i'm quite sure that my rank will drop below the 4% cutoff. What should I do?

^^ I believe you will still qualify for ELC, since UC will be looking at the info--and will set up an ELC account based on--the info from your old school. Of course, your old school must be a CA school in the first place.
