I received letters from a couple of UCs that mentioned my being an ELC (eligibility in a local context) student and that i should apply using this pathway. My problem is that they never sent me an id or a password. I really want to get the application over with, but not having these codes prevents me from applying in the ELC pathway, which i understand is only convenient because they fill in your classes and grades for you which can save time. Will the UCs know that i’m an ELC student, even if I apply normally? to the best of my understanding, being in the top 4% of your class makes you ELC, and they’ll see that anyway. Any thoughts? Does anyone know of a way to find your id or password? thx

why don't you call them? On the letter they send you is there a telephone number or email address where you can ask questions? I think it's a little late to do this. It's almost half of November already so find out and finish your application quick. You are so lucky to get into ELC

smile, Call the ELC office on Monday. The procedure is that they follow-up your original notification with a snail-mailed password. They'll take care of it for you if you have not received it. It's critical that you use your ELC status in your app. Your app will be coded thereby & you'll have a significant advantage in your apps to all the campuses.

I am also an ELC student and I have used the application, but they don't fill out ur grades and activities. The only think they fill out is your personal information, the rest you have to do it on your own.
