@llinrs thanks so much for that info. So simple! I was getting frustrated for no reason.
@signpainter No worries! I was in the same position as you with all the CSS profile stuff and being an independent student. I called all the schools that I applied for and they told me to do what I advised you. If you’re married, though, you must put that in your CSS profile and when you upload IDOC documents, you must also submit your spouse’s tax information alongside yours. Good luck to you! Hopefully the admissions process doesn’t take a hit with what is going on right now.
My application for the Eli Whitney is in! I am excited to see what happens. Who else applied?
I am guessing all the interviews will be video conferencing this session. I was hoping to get to visit the campus.
@spicymustard Nice! I also submitted the application. I don’t know what the process is like, all I got after I hit submit and paid for my application was an email confirming that they received my payment. That’s about it!
I thought video interviews were also done via phone? Although video conferencing makes much more sense.
@llinrs in IDOC, under the Documents Required Section, they’re asking for all these different forms from my custodial and noncustodial parents. Do I just leave that part alone and only upload my own tax returns?
@signpainter yeah, just upload yours and don’t worry about the parent ones.
Hey guy, please let us know when if you get interviews? I will share if I get one too
Hi, when do decisions come out.
@Pj261989 I’m not sure but from previous threads it looks like they come out closer to mid-May.
yes, Ive been reading prior threads and it seems like mid may will be when they distribute decisions. I hope to get an interview
Ok thanks, when do interview decisions come out?
I believe mid April/early May
From previous threads, I’ve seen people received interview requests in the first or second week of April. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if COVID-19 skews the typical timeline. Since they extended the date that certain materials could be submitted until April 10th, interview requests may come after then. I will definitely post if I hear anything.
I just got an e-mail stating that interviews will take place between April 27th and May 1st and that interview requests will be sent out on a rolling basis throughout April. I assume this was sent to everyone, but I’ve been having issues with my email so I wanted to share in case anyone didn’t get it.
Best of luck everyone!
I received that email as well. I have all my material in so I am just patiently waiting with my fingers crossed. Lol good luck to you all
Hmm, I also got the e-mail… Fingers crossed for everybody! I really really REALLY like Yale’s EWSP. Currently in an Ivy and the EWSP seems to have a bond with the University unlike any other. Maybe because of their small number of non-traditional students but who knows. If for some reason I am rejected, it might be the saddest one of all lol.
Best of luck to everybody, though. Hoping they take in more applicants this year! Also I hope that people read these forums and understand that an acceptance/rejection to an Ivy does not reflect your worth as a person. This program seems very self-selective and I am sure that there are way more qualified students than they can admit.
Try to safe and healthy everybody!
Submitted my app in early March, got the email today asking em to set up an interview time! Pretty excited but also nervous about it! For those who are curious about background I’m currently an active duty Sergeant in the Marines and I recently got my Associates from a community college.
@BigMike77 Congrats! Let us know how it goes!
Congrats @BigMike77 ! I hope your interview goes well! I am curious how the interview process goes now that it is all online
I have sent them 3 updates because of things happening regarding COVID-19 and errors in my application that I have caught now…
I hope that these updates translate as genuine interest and not just annoyance.
@bigmike77 WOOT! That’s awesome! Good work, I wish you the best ??
