<p>My DS applied for the Elite scholarships. I know it’s a long shot for him. I was wondering if anyone had heard back yet?</p>
<p>No word yet. My S thought letters were supposed to go out at the end of the week.</p>

<p>Hopefully it’ll be Monday. Either that or just nobody on CC got one (which is extremely unlikely).</p>
<p>I called the Scholarship office on Friday, and letters (acceptance and rejections) were sent out on Thursday. We are only one state over, and our letter hasn’t made it yet. Monday should be the big day.</p>
<p>We are one state away also. We haven’t heard but I am assuming he didn’t get it because he got a letter last week that repeated that he was getting the 15,000/year plus the 1,000. It did not say anything about the elite but I am assuming that is their way of saying you aren’t a finalist.</p>
<p>I heard back today. The letter came in snail mail, and I’m in north AL.</p>

Guess our post office must be busier or something. Anyway, isn’t it kinda surprising they didn’t do the email/phone call thing they’ve done in previous years?</p>
<p>Rejected O.o This is becoming a common trend for me at my state schools… Did anyone else hear back today? That phone call/email thing may still hold.</p>
