Elon fellows vs normal undergrad major?

I would love to dream big and go for the Business Fellows program but don’t want to risk admission by doing this. If they reject me from fellows can I get accepted as a normal business undergrad? Can I apply for both through one application in the same year? Info on this would be much appreciated!!! Thank you!

@dreamsoftrojan My daughter was accepted as a business major for the Fall of 2018 but did not get an interview for the Business Fellows program. It is highly competitive and only takes about 25 new students each year. The application is completely different for the Fellows programs than the college application itself. Hope that helps.

You apply to the college fellows program after you apply for admissions to Elon (ED, EA or RD). . Getting an offer to compete (after you apply for fellows) and being selected as a Fellow is completely separate process and application and has no bearing on being admitted to the University under ED, EA, or RD. Daughter is graduating this May as an Elon College fellow she applied RD, loved the program, she is also a Lumen Scholar and has been admitted to Stanford and University of Chicago for graduate school in the fall. Can’t say enough good things about Elon, the opportunities it offers, the winter term travel opportunities (she went to India), the semester abroad choices …great academics, relatively affordable compared to most private schools, new buildings being built every year, small classes, the long tenures of the presidents to execute their vision, NC weather, great professors etc etc. It was a very good fit for our daughter. Best of luck
