Email about missing forms

Yesterday the portal said that I was still missing the Teacher Evaluation, School Report, and Transcript. However, CommonApp indicated that all of them were downloaded by the college on the 31st of December, so I assumed that they had just not been processed yet.

However, I just received an email from WUSTL a few hours ago about some missing forms. I checked the portal and my Teacher Evaluations have been received, but that the other two still haven't. The email said that my application will not be reviewed unless I submit the missing forms by the 24th.

My issue is that I have already submitted the forms through the CommonApp, and the college has already downloaded them. If this is true (which it should be), the school has taken well over two weeks to process them.

Should I email/call the admissions office about this, or just let it go a little bit longer since the forms may still be waiting to be processed? I just don't want my application to be void if I do not check on what's up.

Well…I created an account on CC just to tell you that I have the same exact issue right now with my app. Hopefully it’s a non-issue. Anyways, I emailed my application processor about this, hopefully she clarifies.

D’s account says she is missing transcript, so I called on Monday - closed but got message that said not to look at common app status but your WUSTL portal. It was still missing as of today, so I’m calling in morning. Hate to bother them but better safe than sorry. May have to get GC to overnight tomorrow due to forecast of big snow. Alas, a phone call never hurts.

:-/ That’s interesting. I REALLY hope that the Common App is dependable enough to the point where if it says the institution has “downloaded” the documents, it’s saying the truth. Otherwise…my other applications might start getting awkward real quick.

FallenAngel9, same here. I think I’m gonna send an e-mail to application processor.

Another problem: I applied to scholarships and they required my transcript. It said that if I submitted transcript for admission, I did not need to send another one. So I didn’t. But… since my admission application isn’t complete becuz of the missing transcript and school report, does it mean I don’t have a chance at getting scholarships?

i am an international applicant. i submitted all my supplements on the 14th(to colleges which had deadlines on 15th)…the status of my supplements is green,i.e.aldy submitted…but i didnot receive any e-mail confirming that from cmmonapp…or any of the colleges!!should i be worried???should i wait?

My son got the same email. The only thing he is missing according to the pathway is the application fee. We mailed a college board fee waiver form (from the west coast) January 6th - more than a week before the deadline. Other schools we mailed it to at the same time have received and processed the waiver. It is better to call admissions or just email them?

I’m having the same problem as well. I was under the impression that my transcript and school report was included in the Common Application.

I sent in an email but just got an automated one back saying they were busy. Not sure if I should send another one, I may try calling sometime. I would really hate for a problem like this ruining my chances.

Swafford, it has always been my understanding that colleges require an “official transcript” sent from your school in a sealed envelope. I believe this is in addition to the “school report” portion of the common app.

So here is a quote from the application processor who I sent my question to: “Please allow sufficient time for processing mail items (and electronic forms)”. I just checked WUSTL Pathway and my application has been completed entirely. Hopefully yours has too!

The school forms on the Common App includes the transcript. It is stated here: https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/SchoolFormsFAQ.aspx

I called today and was told not to worry. If the CommonApp said the school has downloaded the forms, then they have downloaded the forms. They just need to be processed, and I do not need to worry about the forms being late.

Hope this helps if anyone is still confused.

Memama, that is not true at all. That is all included in the SSR.

Thanks Jason, I guess I was mistaken and we sent doubles. As of this morning the WUSTL Pathway says my sons application is complete!

Mine still says the official transcript and school reports are missing, is it safe to assume they are just being processed? This seems to come up with all the schools I applied to (so initially I wasn’t worried), but WUSTL was the only one that sent out a warning email so I was just curious if something actually went wrong.

I printed out the email and brought it to my guidance secretary, she called the college, and they said my file was complete. so my app is complete now!

Just thought I’d update that everything sorted itself out for me as well. :D.

Yep, my app was marked complete a couple days ago. Cool stuff guys. Good luck to you all!

I just got an email about ten minutes ago that my application is being withdrawn because all of my materials weren’t submitted! I logged on, but the website doesn’t show the list of materials anymore. I checked a few days ago and if I remember correctly, the only things missing were my midyear grades and the payment (which I most definitely paid). I paid again to be safe, and our school’s midyear grades won’t be done until Tuesday. I’m going to call tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing or had any advice.

^The pathway said the same thing to me on the 15th, but it changed back to “your application is not yet complete” by the next day. It said my app was complete on the 21st when they finally got my transcript.
