Does anyone know if Berkeley have email alias? Like your email address is basically username@berkeley.edu, but can you create an alias for that address? Like I know UCLA has one: your UCLA email address is basically username@ucla.edu, but you can create an alias like firstname.lastname@ucla.edu and you can forward the email from there to your actual email account (UCLA BOL Email Alias).
So does Berkeley offer this kind of service?

not quite sure I understand you.

are you saying something like if a bud sends an email to your calmail account, it’ll automatically send it to one of your more used emails, like a hotmail or gmail account?

if so, I’m not sure, but I’d definitely like having to only check one personal email rather than checking both.

[New CalMail alias service](http://inews.berkeley.edu/bcc/Fall2004/calmailaliassvc.html)

And you can create whatever primary you’d like. They just recommend using something “official”-like.

^ o thanks! yea that’s what I meant :D

Wow, I never knew that was a feature! Good question. Turns out we can have up to 3. Awesome.

That’s really awesome! Thanks for the info! [:!!
