I woke up this morning to check my inbox then saw an email from Fordham saying that I've caught their attention and that I should use the Your Choice Application.
Does this mean anything special or is it just a way to encourage students to use the Your Choice Application? Do I have a higher chance of being admitted?

From what I hear, it is just a way to encourage more applications. The application is easy to fill out and is free but it does not improve your chance of admittance.

Agree with spirit. Plus it looks good for colleges to have lots of kids apply and thus a smaller percentage get in…it makes them look like they are more in demand!

I think a ton of kids at my school got the Fordham, TCNJ, CWRU and other fee waiver emails the last month. Don’t put too much stock in those email…lots of us are getting them as did the class before us!

Take advantage of EVERY free application you get. When awards are offered you can use them all to negotiate a better package with the school of your choice. Your Choice application also renders an earlier decision notification.
