<p>Umm, I believe you get emails based on your PSAT scores. I got emails from all Ivy leagues and other prestigious Unis. I am sure it is the same for most of CC as well.</p>

<p>Well.. you have to have really good PSAT scores...</p>
<p>I believe it's related to the major you filled out, the GPA you filled out, and your actual PSAT score.</p>
<p>I wouldn't put much weight it on though. (in retrospect, I would have opted out of the student search service, since it is getting pretty annoying).</p>
<p>I got 201, filled out an A- GPA and aerospace engineering for major, and the only Ivy that mailed me was Columbia so far. The rest is like Colorado School of Mines and Texas Christian University =/</p>
