I havn't seen my PSAT score yet, but I'm currently getting emails from not so good universities. Nothing close to IVY leagues. Also I'm getting emails from college board congratulating me on taking the PSAT but no email saying I might have done well. Should I be nervous?

Dude, are a joking? The emails you get are no indicator of how well you did or who is interested in you. Many middle tier universities auto enter anyone who takes the PSAT into their mailing lists. No prestigious school sends emails out, they have people come to THEM, they don’t need to consistently market themselves to get people to enroll. Don’t worry and don’t be so uninformed. If columbia or yale or harvard or even stanford sends you a letter in the mail, it means literally squat. I have gotten all these, it does not mean they want me or that I will get in if I apply. They just randomly mail people out of random lists and what not.

I’ve gotten ZERO emails, but my score wasn’t ‘bad’. My score was a 208.

Also above is right.

I got a 212 last year, and I’m getting emails from a wide range of schools - University of Kentucky, University of Iowa, Florida Southern, Sewanee, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt, Saint Mary’s, Bryn Mawr, etc.

A lot of schools simply buy all the contacts they can from collegeboard and email EVERYONE, regardless of their score. So no, the emails you’re getting are not indicative of your score.

Oh, and I should say that I haven’t gotten an email from an Ivy either. Ivy’s generally don’t send this stuff. They don’t mass-market themselves because they don’t have to - they’re well-known and well-respected, so students come to them.

I took the PSAT last year as a sophomore and I’m getting emails from colleges…but this year I didn’t even get one of those “Congratulations on taking the PSAT” emails…is that a problem??
