Emailing financial aid documents?

I chose to email my tax forms to srfsdocuments@sfs.upenn.edu, but the email bounced back. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’m not sure if this helps, but the following is on Penn’s SFS website: "We can accept these attachment types only: .pdf .tif .doc .docx. .txt .jpg .rtf .xls .xlsx

We cannot accept compressed or zipped files. Please note that emailing documents may compromise their security."

So if you sent a file not in the guidelines, or if it was compressed/zipped, it may have bounced back automatically. Good luck!

Thanks! It was a pdf file so I’m not sure what happened, but they said to either fax it or try splitting up the file, for anyone in the same boat.

No. Fax is better. Also UPenn prefer fax (at least last year).
When you send documents via email your private info may stay in the internet provider servers.
