I am a HS Senior, with ERAU as my first choice school. I am hoping to receive the NROTC scholarship, and I am in applications for the Naval Academy and UF/Santa Fe. I've visted the campus and stayed at the dorms, and want to create a thread for the students interested in/accepted/attending in the Fall 2013 term.

I'll be attending the Open House on Oct 27th, almost solely to see all the dorms. Here is my pro/cons

McKay:
+ closest to classes
+ one bathroom per room
- relatively far to closest dining
- not in the best shape

Doolittle:
+ close to fitness center/pool
+ "traditional" university dorm
+ From what I've heard (I know a few current students), most social & fun
- only con is that my boyfriend of two years (will be a sophomore) will most likely go off campus if I go here

Adam/Wood:
+ condition of dorms
+ I like the student village (views, environment)
+ closest to rotc
+ Buffet eatery and Einstein's bagels within village, and since I will be on meal plan, this is a huge plus
+ My boyfriend will stay in either of the upperclassmen dorms, so we'll both be in student village (he has a car and I don't, so being walking distance apart will be a nice change from 2 and half hours apart)
- farthest from classes

With a 3.4 GPA, 1990 SAT (1340 M + CR), and several extra curriculars, AP's, leadership, I know I have a good chance of getting accepted, and the financial aid calculator approximated my merit scholarship to be about $5000. My Boyfriend had a 3.9, barely lower SAT, 9 APs, and no EC, and was offered $11000. After all the financial aid package, he ended up with about $10000 in student loans, and he is currently a college programmer NROTC midshipman.

I originally considered Embry-Riddle a back up to Annapolis and UF/Santa Fe (I'm currently ten minutes from the campus), but after visiting, I realized that the new buildings, true Florida weather, and small classes taught by actual teachers was a better environment for me. Also, the Aerospace Engineering program and NROTC program are both highly regarded.

Reviews on greek life here? I am interested in joining a sorority, how does it compare to major Universities?

Any other information, stats, advice, questions please?
