Okay, I have been accepted into UCB as a philosophy major and even sent in my high school transcript, "Completed Received - Final 051218 EDISON HIGH SCHOOL 09/2005 - 06/2009", but I just realized that I received a D in both my fall and spring semester for Spanish 3. I have a 4.0 CC gpa, 62 units, but I received a call yesterday from a worker at my CC(OCC) and they said they were unable to send my final transcript because they did not have my high school transcript on file. So I go to my high school and request an un-official transcript and while I am looking over it, I ****ing see that I never passed spanish 3. So what happens now? Will my admissions get revoked or would it be possible to work out some kind of deal with Cal?

I’m pretty sure at this point, they don’t care if you got a D way back in high school. If you passed Spanish 1 and 2, that’s good enough since they fulfilled the foreign language part of your GE requirement. They only care about your CC GPA and what courses you took at a CC.

They don’t give a rat’s ass about your HS grades, that’s not why they want the transcripts.

but they do care about the three year foreign language requirement, dont they?

okay, never mind, according to IGETC its three years for a freshman admit, and two years of a foreign language for a junior transfer. Anyone want to confirm?

Correct.

freak out moment over, close thread
