Emergency! Letter of recommendation!

I accidentally chose the wrong recommender on my Yale application. The Common Application will not allow me to change it. It states that the recommendation has already been "submitted." I have tried emailing the Common Application; however, it has not responded.

My questions are as follows:
Does "submitted" mean the letter of recommendation has already been sent to Yale, or to The Common Application?
Do you know of any way that will allow me to change my recommender?
The recommender did not teach me a core subject; she is a college counselor. The other taught me French. I believe Yale requires two letters of recommendation from two core teachers. Should I submit the other letter of recommendation as a supplement even though it is the second core recommendation and therefore technically required?

Ah! Thank you!
Nolan

I’m pretty sure they hold the recomendations on the system before you submit the application.

If you haven’t done the app yet, couldn’t you just delete the school…and then re-add the recomenders

I tried that! However, I already paid and therefore cannot delete the school. Any other ideas?
