<p>They have already started selecting finalists for the scholarship. One of my friends got a call this past Monday about being selected as a finalist. Supposedly, OSU was initially planning to have everyone informed one way or the other by today through email but that clearly has not happened.</p>
<p>Am on the west coast. Still up doing work. Just got an email stating that I’m in the running for Eminence. I guess everyone else will get their info when they wake up tomorrow and check email.
That is one of the benefits of being “behind time” on the West…

<p>Does anyone know when we will be hearing about the results of the scholarships? I asked today in my interview and it didn’t seem like they really knew the answer. One of them did say she thought before June, but I didn’t think that made sense.</p>
<p>I believe scholarships will be awarded the middle of April. That’s strange that you were told June. If they are hoping to recruit a student with a scholarship, and students need to commit by May 1st, then June would not help their recruitment efforts.</p>

<p>We received an email tonight about the Eminence Scholarship. My D was not offered a place in the program. We are very disappointed. It is sad that a student who has a 35 on her ACT and a 4.0 at high school and postsecondary has to compete for a full ride scholarship. We are very happy for the other students who were accepted into the program and wish them well!</p>

<p>Did not get Eminence after interviewing. In-state, 36 act, 2300 sat, national merit, 4.0.</p>
