“Watson has acted in a few other films (a voiceover in 2008’s “The Tale of Despereaux” and the 2007 BBC film “Ballet Shoes”) but she has spent most of her spare time throughout “Potter” and this is very Hermione-like studying. This fall, she’ll attend Brown University, says producer David Heyman.”

I personally can’t find her in the directory, while I can find a high school friend who will be class of 2013, so I’m not sure what that means. I’m probably just incompetent, or Brown isn’t publishing it.

i think Brown isn’t publishing it. Probably some confidentiality stuff that they do for celebs. NYU is chock full of celebs but they tend to float around without being noticed. if only Emma chose columbia then i could at least see her in ny. =(

I don’t think Brown is publishing it. She was in there a few weeks ago…for like an hour or two, but when everyone in the facebook group started going crazy, they took her down. Haha, it’s pretty funny when you think about it actually :)

If her PR people are worth anything close to what they’re being paid, and if she really wants to blend into college life, I suspect she is not attending Brown or Columbia or Yale, each of which has been the “true” destination according to rumor mongers.

On a related note, apparently she said so herself that she was attending Brown on Good Morning America this morning.

I’m not quite sure if it’s actually all of America, given the time the show is on and the difference in time zones between New York and Los Angeles, among other places, but nevertheless that seems like a pretty large stage to make an announcement on.

^ doesn’t it seem strange she’d confirm explicity where she’s going to some low profile magazine? (she didn’t confirm in Elle, Vanity Fair, on interviews with letterman, regis & kelly, interview on oprah’s website, etc.) Plus her answers to the questions are way too long and do not sound like her at all. She herself has stated several times that when she announces her decision she will post it on her official website (which she has not done so yet). Also, if the article were true and credible… wouldn’t it be all over the web by now? She WAS the #1 most searched for on yahoo/google for the past week (especially her college choice). Paste magazine is also undergoing a current financial crisis and they probably are making up stuff to try to save themselves.

Anyway, if she does go to Brown, then yay :DDD My childhood friend goes to Brown so I can visit her and stalk Emma Watson xD.
