Emory and the SAT/ACT?

Hey everyone, I had read online, and I had heard at the Emory info-session, that Emory does not really seem to care all so much about test scores, really stressing the applicant's class rigor during high school; that's the vibe I was getting. However, to what extent do they imply? How much does Emory really care about SAT/ACT scores? I'm sure many of you cannot answer, but any comments would definitely be appreciated. Thank you.

Like most schools they mostly care about the math and critical reading sections and little about writing. You do need a decent score to get a foot in but doing very will also do little to improve your chances of admission in other areas of your application are subpar. I’d say anything above 1400 or 2100 wont make much of a difference, while anything below about 1200 or 1800 will really hurt.

Hmm, do you want the number to my tutor or not. Tell your dad you have to quit track and do work. If you don’t start studying and working it will effect the rest of your life (well college wise).
