dang I got excited when I heard people were getting in. way to be racist Emory, I guess I have to wait till next friday

emory just sent me an email saying that my apps just got reviewed. Sounds like I am dead fish lol

ACCEPTED!!! :))

Congratulations to all. I hope many more of you have good news in the next couple of days.

@kp217 ^^^agreed.

I don’t find this racist at all…I’m sorry you feel that way though.

Me, too! Why do we have to be the last to know? And do we get a special weekend ,too?

Congrats everyone!!

Accepted!!! Wooooooooohoooooooooooo!!!

When did you get your email?

Special weekend to promote the White/Asian culture at Emory? yeah, when you get in every day will be like that.

I actually didn’t get an email…my friend got one so i logged into OPUS and read the letter :)

Now I’m so nervous. I’m an URM and I didn’t get a decision today…:(

same, I didn’t get mine either

Sunkistgirl, log into OPUS, there is a link that says “decision letter” or something like that

ScientistDancer, I just checked my OPUS account and there is no decision up

Still no decision available for this URM I feel like this is a bad sign

Yup, no decision. Thanks anyway ScientistDancer. Hopefully it has something to do with my financial aid. They thought that they didn’t have all of my required forms until like Monday so…

I’m going to try to remain hopeful.

@Optomistic4Ivy: I posted yesterday that on OPUS my D had like 3 emails requesting for tax returns to complete the fin aid application. Today was just the decision without any specific reference to fin aid. Rather it said to look out for more info on a weekend event Apr 7-10. Trouble is we live in So Cal and getting a ticket to Atlanta is not going to be cheap, and I doubt if Emory will sponsor an OOS admitted student to visit the campus. U Chicago is paying all expenses for my D to come out and visit Apr 14-15, which is a pretty nice gesture and something that encourages positive feeling towards the school… jus’ sayin’

Emory does offer paying for travel expenses for Essence of Emory.

Melanie22, how do we qualify for that?
