i dont know!! i was wondering the same thing

ahhhh I didn’t get that what did it say

wow I think my parents messed up when they tried to apply for aid and that’s why I didn’t get the email

Isn’t there something that implies our admission on OPUS?? like NYU’s financial status???

I got the email. Would love if someone knew anything about the above admissions question! ^

what did the email say?

I understand it’s a standard email.

Why did a bunch of you guys get it but not everyone else? Do you think maybe they are sending them out in waves?

I got it yesterday as well, but I’m pretty sure it’s a standard email. Did you guys submit your tax return stuff?

Yeah I completed the CSS profile and everything but still didn’t get it

Like AsleepAtTheWheel, my D (a sophomore) applied RD and Emory was the last college she heard from. We thought she wouldn’t receive enough financial aid but Emory’s offer was the third highest offer she received. We did not visit the campus until April 29 (the last college we saw) and 10 mins. into the tour, it was obvious that Emory would be a great fit for her. She loves Emory and is extremely happy.

We had a friend who was offered a full scholarship to Oxford College (entered the same year my D did) but she elected to attend the main campus and the scholarship was not transferable. However, she was not an international student.

A few people at my school were talking about how a few colleges were planning on releasing decisions on the 11th. I have no idea if Emory is one of them though. So it’s possible if they did it last year they could do it again this year, but it’s still probably going to be the 15th.

I checked my OPUS and it says that the IDOC packet has not been completed… does anyone know what that is ?

on emory’s admissions blog they said it would be on the 15th for sure http://blog.emoryadmission.com/

Jenny M100 if you look at the details it explains it. I’m pretty sure that has to do with the CSS profile and I think you get the IDOC packet from the school. Not sure though.

It is the 15th. I just found out I was admitted and matched to Emory University (through Quest Bridge) and my contact told me I would get all my information the 15th when ED decisions come out.

The waiting seems to be eternal lolll
Hope Emory announces our results on 12th which is Friday
btw, now, OPUS site is not accessible/ are they updating something?

@shockwave457 Congrats!
I’m pretty sure it is going to be the 15th, but i’m still super anxious lol

@spiritkoi hows ur stats?

Thanks @spiritkoi OPUS is not working (said by associate dean of admission in my email) and he said the day they plan to release ED1 decisions is December 15, 2014.
