<p>Do you guys think international students have less chance? My chances are really slim already. Three of my classmates enrolled already.</p>
<p>2 of my classmates enrolled in Emory and 2 were waitlisted. However I was still taken off!! I emailed my counselor my updates weekly and usually just said hey. She replied and I really loved her. I wrote a 3 page letter and sent updated grades. I hope you get off next!</p>

<p>Wow after reading this, I suddenly got really scared. I really wanted to get off of the Emory waitlist :(</p>
<p>Told her about my week, improvement on grades, sometimes I just said enjoy your week or I wish you the best. What’s funny is last week I was freaking out and I got so many 404 coinceidiental calls so I humorlessly told her that I got 12 calls and got so happy thinking it was Emory but it was coincidences. This was Friday morning I sent that email and a couple hours late she replie wishing me luck at my relay event ad telling me she was sorry. A couple more hours I got a call… Idk if they were linked but I was so happy!</p>
<p>I’m devastated but there’s no way we can afford it. Hope someone deserving gets my spot. Good luck!</p>

<p>Hey guys! So i have some great news for all of you. My financial aid package wasn’t the best, so i am unable to attend Emory. This Means that another round of calls will definitely be made since people like me (who were accepted off the wait list) can’t attend. So at this point you’re on the wait list for from the Wait list so to speak. Hope this gives you guys more hope, and good luck!</p>
<p>I just missed my call from a 404 and they sent me an email saying they want to check my interest in the waitlist and to call back asap…does this mean I got “the call”? Im like shaking now lol and will they let me see my finaid before a decision?</p>

With D, she got her fin aid letter very shortly after “the call”.
