While I applied to both on my Common Application, I didn't mention Oxford in my essay. I mentioned things such as how fit is so important and how some of Emory's programs will help me continue on with my passions. Do you think this matters for the Oxford admissions people? I was just curious because i'm sure a lot of people didn't know about Oxford till they started to apply. Is it possible to still get into Oxford without mentioning it in the supplement?

Absolutely. Most people at Oxford didn’t actually know what it was until they received their admissions information. That being said, it’s a good idea to mention Oxford in the common app supplement, but not absolutely necessary.

When I applied, I exclusively wrote about how Oxford would help me realize my academic goals, but many of my classmates only wrote about Emory’s Atlanta campus offerings.
