<p>I was wondering how accessible it is to get to Atlanta from Emory without a car. How often do Emory students go to Atlanta for social/recreational/cultural activities. Ideally, I want a suburban campus where students regularly use the city (like once a week), is this Emory? Essentially, is Atlanta an extension of the campus or a far off location Emory students rarely visit?</p>
<p>It’s called MARTA and the cliff shuttles (there is a Georgia Tech Shuttle, an Emory Hospital midtown shuttle, . and others) It’s more easy to go to on weekends than it is weekdays (because there are Lennox and Emory experience shuttles that go out). Emory students find a way to get out, trust me. If you are going somewhere outside of Fulton or Dekalb, there are Zipcar checkout areas very close to, if not on, campus. Emory students are also not too resistant to taking a cab. </p>
