Emory vs. Davidson

I have narrowed down my choice of colleges to these two schools. I am concerned about the tiny size of Davidson, but am drawn in by its promise of high amounts of attention from professors and the close knit community feel. However, Atlanta has a lot to offer, and I'm especially interested in the Yerkes Primate Center. I am going in a chemistry major, but I definitely want to do some exploring because I have a strong interest in Spanish and psychology as well. I may or may not go pre-med. I also hate the characteristic of "money-flaunting," which I hear I can find a lot of at Emory. Please help :/ any and all comments would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a friend who recently chose davidson not over emory but at other larger schools due to attention and higher grad rates. Davidson might be better for exploring since it is more liberal arts focused. Although Emory has a great chemistry program, a ‘good’ program entails more competition and those professors may want to focus more on their own research. When I visited Emory I sat in both a chem and psych class. I loved both and the teachers actually seemed interested to talk to me. I’m not sure if it was because they knew people were visiting or not but it was nice. Emory might be better for pre-med. I would say that if you really feel like you would be missing out on unique opportunities, go with Emory.
