Which one should I choose if I plan to major in Finance, need to pay $5000 less per year at Emory, and regard job opportunities as top priority?

both are excellent schools, but I say Georgetown just because I'm biased against Atlanta..lol not really, but DC is perfect for job opportunities

from what hear, georgetown is really great for polysci but idk about finance. i know for sciences and stuff, emory is definitely better.

You'll def get strong recruitment from top ibanking and consulting firms if you go to Georgetown. I'm assuming you got into Georgetown MSB? The mere association of the Georgetown name and prestige with MSB attracts top recruiters.

Definitely go to Georgetown if you wanna do ibanking/consulting. I think it's strong in finance. Though it's mostly famous for its SFS school (it's polisci* by the way, political science), its MSB school is really good for ibanking/consulting. Definitely a target school.

If you wanna stay in the south/southeast when you graduate, go to Emory's business school. Otherwise, I'd go to Georgetown. Georgetown has more name recognition, too, in my opinion.

Either school is good though.

hey, I'm pre-med and transferring. I got into g-town and emory but I can't decide where to go...I'm interesting in international healthcare policy and I'd probably major in neuroscience at emory and biology at g-town. if anyone could offer some insight I'd appreciate it.

thanks.

Congrats, you have a choice most people would be envious of. Do well at either school and you'll be in a great position. I'm clearly biased (LOVED my time as a pre-med at Emory) so I'll throw in my 2 cents. Global health is huge at Emory. However, as a dedicated field of study for undergrads, it's relatively new (I took the very first offering of Global Health 101). The Carter Center, the Task Force for Child Survival and Development and the CDC are ATL organizations with global health initiatives that I heard a lot about as an undergrad. I hope that helps you a bit. Congratulations again.
