Come on guys, what do you think?

I have a half tuition scholarship from USC and I'm from the SoCal area like 40 miles North of Los Angeles. Emory is my outta-state option, seems like a great one, but what do you think of this comparison?

Looking to go pre-med. I do like big sports, I think SC would be cool cuz of Trojan family, sports, but I heard Atlanta is an amazing place and everyone seems to just LOVE Emory.

Hey, I live in Atlanta and got accepted to Emory. I also got a Trustee to USC, which is my No. 1 choice. I think I could give you some insight...

For Pre-med, Emory is definitely a great place. You'll also get a good liberal arts education as well... And Atlanta is a good city with lots to do... but not nearly as good as LA, trust me...

My biggest problem with Emory was that there was no sense of being on a college campus. No excitement, or community. Its campus was very blah to me, and there didn't seem to be much school spirit. Also, the students seemed a bit too intellectual (only book smart)... there just didn't seem to be enough balance.

Also, no sports to get excited about at Emory...

honestly, you couldn't go wrong with either choice. My criticisms of Emory just come from what I want out of a college, which is probably very different (i want to be a theatre and communications major) Emory's price tag is steep w/o a scholarship. but honestly, you have good options.

Good luck!
