Emory yield is very low this year?
Don’t they continue to release people off of the waitlist until June?
@Hoped123 : They usually take 30-70 anyway…more like 50 but okay. A low yield or off-target admissions usually means they have to take like 150-200 off. I doubt this happened. Usually Emory is somewhat close to the target.

Did anyone else other than @yasv11 get in off the waitlist or know anyone that did? Not saying I don’t believe you but I’m confused bc my councilor just called and they said it may be as late as June 26th
most schools release notifications in waves of acceptances and rejections. So it’s entirely plausible that people have been notified, and will continue to be notified until whatever date.

The waitlist FAQ says it should be over by June 1…hopefully. I don’t think I could bear not knowing where I am going for much longer than that
