emory?

what gpa does emory transfers have? 3.3 from cc is not enough to get into emory with econ major, is it?

Probably not. 3.5+ GPA is generally required to be competitive for top 25 schools. But hey, you're not that far off. Just try to raise it up a bit and you'll have a considerably better shot.

Best of luck :)

mad people on here always say they are from emory with a 3.9 gpa and want to transfer to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc. I wonder what the deal with that is? Maybe they are just looking for prestige or something? Emory seems like a good place though and since it seems like there are a lot of people transferring out of there, you may have a shot with a 3.3, but probably try to get it up more.

which top 25 or even 30 schools would accept 3.3 gpa. I mean, which schools are easier compared to others?

anyone? any thoughts?

bump.......
+.+

University Of Rochester

UNC Chapel Hill?

WOOHOO got into to Emory College with a 3.3 from BU!! yea, i can't believe it either....High school counts more, i believe, if you only attended 1 year of school (which I think is my case). Oh, and BU has notorious grade deflation so that could be it too.

UNC-CH -- 3.3 is considered competitive as a transfer
