Employment opportunities for Geology vs Environmental chemistry

Hello I am currently a transfer student to a University of California. I am currently an environmental chemistry major. At my community college, I took a geology class and loved it. Both subjects (chem. and geo) in my opinion, go hand in hand. I want a job where I am involved with contaminant cleanup and remediation. I plan to attend graduate school, but I'm not sure whether that will be a doctorate or master's program. If I stick with environmental chemistry, then I want to pick up a minor in geology, however if I switch to geology I want a minor in chemistry. Which route will give me better employment opportunities for what I want to do? Also I would like to have other employment opportunities as well. Any help/knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Collegetvk

There’s not a single right answer - both paths lead to viable employment opportunities. Pick one, make the most of it. (internships, etc)
