^Thats crossing the line

i saw my math teacher in Haight Ashbury in SF, very weird

haha metdeth... i've been to some of my teachers' houses... to hang out.

Okay so my school is pretty small so we all get to know the teachers pretty well... Still, whenever I randomly see a teacher somewhere I usually try really hard not to have to talk to them...

It happens to me a lot because many of my teachers live locally. I bump into them on coffee runs, restaurants, diners, pizzerias, etc.

The most awkward of all encounters, though, was when I was at work (I work at a beach), and two of my teachers (who are married to each other) came with their parents to hang out at the beach and we were talking for awhile.... It was really awkward... For me, at least.

I ran into my Latin teacher in Food Lion. He usually wear a nice shirt, pants and a tie everyday, but he was in shorts and carrying a bottle of wine and a six pack. I stopped and asked him if "ludacis" (sp?) was a latin root word, and yes, it is. We studied the word it came form a week before. wow.

I'm pretty good friends with a lot of my old teachers...my sister even babysat for my freshman year science teacher. :)

The way my school is set up, though, we take our core classes with the same 120 kids all four years. So we get to know the teachers really well.
