just curious. If anyone's ever been in that boat...

Whenever my friends have had their parents, they never really addressed them as anything.

AHHHHHH
this makes me feel so happy because my mommy was my teacher last year!!!!!
i just called her mom all the time because 'ms. storey' felt really awkward and silly
people thought that it was funny so it was a lot of fun
but yea....cool!

what class was your mom teaching?

that's so cool! did your mom give u the answers to the tests? hahahah it would take a lot of integrity to maintain honesty.

wow i never knew they allowed parents to teach at their own children's school district...interesting

my friend's mom taught our science class in middle school. she never really addressed her mom in class.

aabbcc1789 - Why wouldn't they? If a teacher lives in the district, then the kids go to the school too, haha. My dad's a teacher at my school, but I've never had him.

According to friends who've been in this situation, Mr./Mrs. -insert last name here- works best. It helps keep the relationship then purely professional, which is what it should be.

yea i had my mom for english last year!
noooo she did not give me the answers and a sit turned out she didnt even grade my papers as we had a student teacher who was forced to grade all the assignments.
so really it worked out quite excellently
and yes, i did get an A....
but it was fair and square! lol

What are you doing upppp?

ahahaha. Oprah, didn't people criticize you a lot, though??

nooo not really
plus my mom is a really popular teacher so it was all gravy.
but it was so much fun, really.
